By shear accident I came up with this color look. For a project I was experimenting with 50's and 60's looks but ended up with this.

Jeroen > one of the first water lilies in our pond. The pond is very shallow so I was surprised to see this one bloom.

Jeroen > it is about the magnification the water drop creates. It is about balance and trying to keep the drop on top of the lily. In fact, it took quiet some effort to make this photo. I made maybe 30-40 of this shot alone as there was a slight wind and this caused just enough ripples in the pond to make this flower move. And there I sat on the edge of the pond, 1 leg in the water and trying to keep my balance. At the same time I kept the lily as still as I could, with 1 hand. The other hand as you could imagine held the camera...
